Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities to support workshop operations and organizational objectives, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate, and procure spare parts, consumables, materials, and services at competitive pricing while maintaining required quality standards.
  • Review and analyze supplier quotations, assess pricing competitiveness, and recommend optimal purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers, logistics, and planning teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update databases for materials, vendors, pricing, and expenditures to support accurate planning and reporting.
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives, expand and qualify the vendor base, and mitigate risks associated with single sourcing.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in areas such as delivery reliability and product quality, implementing improvement actions as needed.
  • Participate actively in material review processes, problem-solving sessions, and continuous improvement programs to enhance procurement and material planning efficiency.
  • Prepare and support management with ad hoc, weekly, and monthly procurement reports and assigned tasks.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards while performing other duties as required.
